P3: The Future of Public-Private Partnerships Revealed!
Eric Lieder is a Senior Vice President at HOCHTIEF and has over 15 years of experience, 9 years of which leading the North American project finance team for HOCHTIEF and advising HOCHTIEF’s North American subsidiaries on various financing issues, including their Build-Finance and Design-Build-Finance pursuits. Eric closely monitors the domestic and international funding market and fully understands the credit requirements and lenders’ appetites and capacities throughout the world.
During his career, he has been instrumental in over 15 closed P3 projects in North America and has closed 10 projects, 5 of which he was the lead financing key individual for the consortium. Eric has been directly involved in the raising of over $3 billion of debt and $250 million in equity for the closed projects and has led and/or managed structuring for committed debt financings for over $7 billion of private financing. Eric also has a strong understanding of rating agencies criteria, local and international lending community and financing complexities that arise as a result. Eric also participates as an alternate board member on the Northeast Anthony Henday Drive Project (and formerly on Alberta Schools Alternative Procurements Projects II and III and the Ontario Provincial Police Modernization Project).
